An Exploration of Art and Ecology - with Laurel Panton, B.F.A McMaster, Teacher R.B.G.

Awaken your childlike curiosity as we venture away from the Round House Barn and into the majestic forest. The forest provides a powerful setting for delving into the creative spirit and inviting a deepening awareness of nature. Along our journey we will explore rustic ruins nestled under a canopy of trees close to Bruce Trail. How did these ruins come to be? Through photography, journaling, found objects or traditional art making, the mystery of this site will be our inspiration. We will also consider ways other artists have approached nature in an effort to uncover their own visual language. This opportunity to play outdoors will be rewarding for the inexperienced and invigorating for the advanced.
